General tips for writing (exam or coursework)

• Try to think in French. Don't think or write in English then translate.
• Use set structures e.g. de temps en temps ( from time to time) hier soir (yesterday evening) to give form to your work
• Use a variety of tenses
• Put in opinions
• Check your work methodically and thoroughly
